My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Klaira, and I’m a 7-month-old short haired tabby with white. I’m petite, gentle, loving, and shy, in a sweet way. Maybe I’m not shy, just gentle and easy going. I was found by a kind lady just roaming around the neighborhood. It was getting cold outside, so she brought me in to keep me warm and find my family. After all her effort, no one asked about me and I did not have that chip thing in me to identify my family. After keeping me a few weeks still trying to find my home with no success, she found Texas CARES. They took me in to foster, get me spayed, chipped and fattened up. Interesting story! Once in for spaying, they found I had already been spayed, but not very good. According to them, I could have still had kittens. So, they did a better job and I’m ready to go, have a chip and am all healed!

Now that I’ve told you all about my past, let me tell you about my present! I’m perfect! I don’t do anything my foster mom says I should change! I use the litter box perfectly, eat my food, enjoy my treats, I’m gentle and I don’t play wild all over the house. She said I was so good that I needed to learn some habits like playing, running around, and exploring more. She wants me to feel free to be a kitty and not worry about being so perfect all the time.

My foster mom has other kitties here and I don’t like them. They look at me funny and follow me around. The lady who rescued me had cats that didn’t bother me. Maybe I only like kitties that leave me alone for now. Out in the wild I had to be careful of everything! I do like to sit on your lap, beside you and near you. I won’t be upset if you carry me, but then I’m ready to get down. My foster mom likes to snuggle me in a ball. It’s nice for a bit, but then I’m ready to move on. My foster mom was told how I like to lay in the big cat bed with people. I can’t do it here because of the other kitties, so I sleep up on a stool, or in a room by myself.

If you’re looking for a gentle and perfect girl, I’m your gal! Please come meet me at PetSmart in Prosper or request a visit. I’m ready to be someone’s baby kitty!
