Hello,
We have been caring for a cat that originally belonged to our neighbor. The neighbor moved away and left him behind, we took him in, provided food, and gave him a safe place to stay.
He is a calm, well-behaved cat who spends most of his time indoors. He does not scratch furniture and is fully litter-trained. He is gentle and does not bite—just a little shy at first. He enjoys being brushed and likes attention, although he doesn’t like being held for too long.
He goes outside occasionally, and we always let him out when he asks. After a short while, he reliably comes back home.
He sometimes throws up hairballs, which is normal for long-haired cats, but otherwise he seems healthy and easy to care for.
We love him very much. However, we are moving out of the country soon and unfortunately cannot bring him with us. We are hoping to find a responsible organization or family who can give him a safe, loving home.
