Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ivy! She is so fun and playful. She loves to wrestle and chew and then cuddle. She loves people, and would love to grow up with a family ready to teach her everything a puppy needs to know! She would make a great little sister for a dog already in the home. Ivy has briefly met cats and loves kids, but like all puppies, she will need lots of training time put in to be the best she can be! Ivy was found as a stray with her sister Holly. Ivy is about 10 pounds, and unknown mixed breed. She will likely be a medium sized adult. She is so happy to be safe and loved! She'd love to have a family of her own. Ivy came to SAAP with wounds to her forehead and shoulder. She has had time to heal up and medicine to treat them, and she's looking great though she may have some light scarring on her forehead. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
