Hi, my name is Betsy. I’m a confident, slightly demanding, girl. I love to play and wrestle and explore. When I want to be cuddled, I will climb right up on your lap and snuggle. I get so relaxed that I occasionally roll off a lap! I love treats, and my foster parents even taught me to sit for a treat! My favorite activity/toy at my foster home was their 14yr old cat. He taught me a lot and was so fun! I’m a good eater, but I don’t do well with wet food. I’m also very good at using a litter box and cleaning myself. At my foster home, I learned to be around a big dog, many other cats and kittens, and lots of people, including kids. I was voted “Most likely to rule the world”
Favorite Toy – I love toys that move - toss a sparkle ball or pompom and I’m there!! I also love catnip!

We are a non-profit Animal Shelter located in Menominee, Michigan. We take in stray and surrendered dogs and cats from several counties, averaging 1,000 animals per year. Our priority is to reunite the strays with their owner and adopt the unclaimed or surrendered pets into loving forever homes.
