Meet A Christmas Story, aka Chris an adorable white pup whose name reflects the miracle he already lived. He came to us right before Christmas from a small rural shelter where time and resources were limited. Soon after being brought to APA, it was realized that he needed emergency surgery to repair a hernia that was impacting his major organs. Thanks to the fast acting staff and vets at APA, he has a new lease on life! He is recovering well and showing how strong and resilient he is for such a young pup.
Despite his rough start, A Christmas Story is sweet, gentle and affectionate. He enjoys cozy naps, kind attention, and being near people who make him feel safe.
