Meet Latte, our Siamese mix male — lovingly described as our little challenge. Rescued from a cat colony at just 8 weeks old, Latte is still learning that humans can be safe and kind. He’s cautious, observant, and unmistakably intelligent.
Latte already shows signs of curiosity and engagement — watching people closely, learning routines, and testing the world around him. With patience, consistency, and gentle handling, he has real potential to blossom into a deeply bonded companion.
We’re seeking a special adopter: someone calm, kind, and patient, who understands that socialization is a journey. Latte needs a human who sees progress as a series of small, meaningful steps — and who celebrates every one.
Siamese cats are widely known as one of the most intelligent and interactive breeds — fast learners, problem solvers, and deeply bonded companions once trust is earned. Latte has that spark. He simply needs the right environment for it to shine.
While no kitten is fully hypoallergenic, Siamese mixes tend to be low shedders, which may mean milder reactions for some allergy-sensitive households
A patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands shy or semi-feral kittens
A calm, predictable household (quiet adults or older, respectful children)

Interview
Pls ensure you can provide a long term stable home for your future pet. Have a back up plan if you suddenly have to give up your pet.
Meet the Pet
Most of our cats are in private foster homes. If the cat is on our website (www.DextersKitties.org) that means the cat is still available.
Approve Application
If you own your home pls confirm it matches public records. If you rent pls provide landlord information so we can confirm pets are allowed.

Pay Fee
We ask for a donation to help cover fostering expenses. Cash, check, PayPal, Credit Card, Venmo and Zelle are accepted.
Take the Pet Home
Please bring a proper cat carrier with you. Make sure you have a dedicated bathroom to socialize your cat slowly to your home.
