True to her name, Star is here and shining bright! ⭐
At about 4 years old, Star came to Five Acres from a rural animal control, where she was turned in as a stray. This girl is shy and sweet, and her consistent happy smile conveys how truly excited she is to explore the world and start her next chapter. 🥹
Star walks well on a leash, has a playful side that comes out to shine once she gets comfortable, and she is clearly just happy to be with you and be loved (especially as she gets to know you better)! ❤️ So far, we've seen that other dogs -- especially boisterous, overactive ones -- bring out her more timid and anxious side, so we will arrange a dog meet & greet with any potential future doggy siblings to make sure that they mesh well together. 🐶 (We have not yet seen how she feels regarding cats yet!)
This brindle sweetheart can usually be seen looking up into her person's eyes, eagerly awaiting the next pat on the head or loving words. 🥰 After an uncertain past, Star is now ready to take center stage in her forever household and make her humans' lives even brighter! Stop by our Canine Clubhouse soon from 1pm-6pm Tues-Fri or 11am-5pm Sat & Sun to meet her in person -- you can also submit an online application! ⭐
