My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Pibb!

Mr. Pibb is a 7‑month‑old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 27.2 lbs, and he’s the perfect blend of sweet, cuddly, and playful. He’s making steady progress with house‑training, and while he doesn’t do well in a crate, he does great when gated in a room with one of his canine foster siblings. Having a buddy nearby helps him feel secure, especially since he can get a little anxious when left alone.
This happy pup loves spending time in the yard, especially when he gets to play with his dog friends. Toys, bones, and cuddle sessions are some of his favorite things, and when he’s not romping around, he’s happiest snuggled up with his fur siblings or curled up on his foster mom’s lap.

Mr. Pibb hasn’t been exposed to kids yet, but he’s still very much a puppy and will need a family committed to helping him learn good manners. He’s extremely food‑motivated—so motivated that he’ll help himself if given the chance—and he’s currently learning how to sit, keep his paws off tables and counters, and not beg. He’s also learning how to play appropriately with other dogs and is eager to keep improving.

If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate young pup who’s ready to learn and grow with you, Mr. Pibb might be the perfect match.

His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
