Meet Scout 🐾 – A big laid-back pup ! (Scout is currently living in Texas with his foster family, he will be transported through Project Freedom Ride when he is adopted)
Scout is a sweetheart with the calmest, most laid-back personality of his whole litter. He’s a big baby at heart—gentle, affectionate, and just a little bit of a lovable doofus that will keep you smiling. Scout enjoys companionship and does especially well walking on leash when he has another dog by his side.
Scout’s story started on the streets of a small rural Texas town, where he, his momma, and siblings were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, a kind couple took them in and gave them safety, care, and a chance at a better life. Now Scout is ready for the next chapter—a forever home of his very own.

For out-of-state adoptions:
The PFR adoption fee is $500 (this includes transport). The fee also includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 4 parvo/distemper boosters, and bordatella), flea and tick prevention, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and registered microchip.
He is available through Levelland Animal Friends, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. He is located with our rescue here in the Texas Panhandle.
SCOUT would be transported on one of the PFR transports in the following locations.

Our pets are located in Levelland, Texas with foster families. Once the dog or cat is adopted, they will be transported by Project Freedom Ride to a Transport location. Levelland Animal Friends was founded in January 2014. We are a very small volunteer based rescue in Levelland, TX (located 30 miles west of Lubbock, TX) Levelland Animal Friends works to rehome dogs brought into the City of Levelland Animal Shelter that are not reclaimed. We also provide medical care for wounded or ill animals in our foster homes that are from our shelter or the community. Once they are healthy, we work to rehome these pets. We are a partner rescue with Project Freedom Ride and have monthly transport to the PNW, Midwest and NE.
