My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misha is on a mission to find love!
.
Misha’s journey to EHS began through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, where her gentle nature quickly stood out. Once she realized humans could be friends, she traded her cautious distance for affectionate leg rubs and soft purrs.

ABOUT MISHA
- At shelter
- Misha is a sweet, tender-hearted girl but is still adjusting to indoor life, sometimes choosing quiet corners or sitting on the cat tower to observe the world around her.
- She enjoys gentle cheek, chin, and back rubs. It may be best to start with a back-scratcher if you are just meeting her, but petting her by hand is good once Misha feels more comfortable with you. She may even greet you with soft meows when she feels safe.
- She’s beginning to let her playful side shine through, especially when a wand toy or catnip toy is available.
- She gets along well with her kennel mate Whiskers, and the two of them are helping each other to come out of their protective shells.
- Misha is a skittish cat who until recently has had minimal experience with humans.
- She is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people.
- Misha is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and up to date on her core vaccinations.

MISHA’S IDEAL HOME
-Misha could be adopted into a home with a friendly feline companion. She would also do well as the sole cat to reign in the household.
- A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children.
- Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Misha settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Misha with a successful transition to her forever home.

Are you looking for a gentle girl with a lot of love to give? Misha may be the one for you! Come meet her at the shelter and let her win your heart.
