Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI)
Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks (The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)
Foster Care Plan: Jewel is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since she may be contagious to other cats, we strongly recommend keeping her in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until she has fully recovered. She will go to her foster home with medication, and once treatment is complete, she’ll be ready for adoption!
Foster to Adopt: Jewel is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
