Meet Kringle! ?? A sweet 63lb, 9-month-old gentle boy who was found running loose at a park and brought to the shelter. He can be very shy and timid at first, especially in noisy environments, but once he feels safe his friendly personality starts to shine. Kringle walks nicely on a leash, though he can be a bit unsure when other dogs are barking as he passes the kennels. Give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see him blossom. In the play yard, Kringle begins to relax—doing some light running and experimenting with toys (he hasn’t quite discovered his favorite yet!). He also loves being close to someone he trusts, soaking up quiet companionship and reassurance. Kringle is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and finally know what it means to belong. We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
