Lucille is about 2 years old and was rescued from a bad situation by an older couple in October. They decided that she was just too much dog for them. They already had 6 and couldn't afford another one. She has been an outside dog only for her short life. Lucille loves kids and dogs and seems to be afraid of cats and of loud noises. So, she will need to be treated as a puppy at first - potty-training, learning to walk using a gentle leader (she is strong). She is playful and happy and will make a great family dog with someone who is willing to take some time with her.
FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Lucille's adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. We are an all volunteer animal welfare organization and foster based rescue located in Cumberland County TN. We work tirelessly to help as many stray, abandoned and injured pets as possible and find them new, loving homes.
Any pet transported out of state to a pre-approved adopter will be transported via Rescue Riders LLC, a leader in professional pet transport.
Our pets are fully vetted and will have a health certificate issued by a vet within two weeks of transport.
Once an application is approved, you will be contacted with the details of transport and pick up time and location.
