FUDGE is a stunning young mixed breed boy looking for a home. His soft caramel-colored eyes will melt your heart. Fudge has the most divine disposition, sweet and friendly. He loves toys and treats and human attention. Fudge is still a pup at around 9 months old. He's currently 34 pounds and is probably fully grown. Our best guess on breed mix is a Brittany/Beagle mix but that's just a guess, who knows how many breeds are in the mix. Fudge's lovely red coat is somewhere between short and medium. He's best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and he'd love to have a doggy playmate. If you'd like to meet Fudge, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Fudge at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
