My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cute ball of fluff is named Tinker Bell. She doesn’t know where her family is and why she’s in this new place. She will need TLC time and patience to build trust. But once she does, there’s no doubt she will be your BFF! She is a 3yr old 17 pound terrier mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/23 as a stray. My dog scanner says she’s a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix. Anyway you mix it, you come out with adorable! At first, when I met her she was trembling. After she got out in the yard and explored a little she relaxed some. She is cautiously friendly. The way she looked up at me I can tell she’s craving love. She just doesn’t know how to ask for it. She is timid. She’s very sweet, calm, gentle and alert. Once she’s settled into a loving home, her true personality will shine. She would do best in a laid-back household with older children. With her size, she could accompany you anywhere. She would make a great lap dog.
