Hello. I currently have a Great Pyrenees mix Im looking to surrender.
His Name is Jelly Bean, he’s a male and about 50% Great Pyrenees, and he’s updated on all his vaccines, neutered, and negative for heartworm
He’s an energetic playful dog, loves new people, is very cuddly and does very well with cats. He does not resource guard and is house and crate trained.
He is generally reactive to other dogs, especially on leash, he does well with dogs he grew up with and doesn’t have a bite history. Although I think he’d do best as an only dog, I’m confident he would be able to get along with a new female dog if given the time to acclimate.
He does not have any experience or training as a Livestock Guardian Dog but did grow up on a Ranch and did not harm any animals that I am aware of. But I think he would be best remaining in a home environment with a yard. And potentially a cat since he really loves them.
