Bernice is a sweet, lovable puppy weighing about 15 pounds and approximately 11 weeks old. She’s doing wonderfully with potty training and is already sleeping through the night in her pen/play area. Bernice will let you know when she needs to go outside, which is pretty impressive for her age!
She’s a total people-pup who loves to follow her humans wherever they go. Bernice is learning how to play with her toys and is gentle, docile, and incredibly affectionate. She listens well to commands and is eager to please, making her a joy to have around.
Bernice would be a perfect addition to a loving home looking for a cuddly, well-mannered puppy with a calm and sweet disposition.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
