My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Nicholas

Born 10/07/2025 | 10 lbs | Male | Professional Cuddler

Nicholas is a tender‑hearted little pup who was being given away for free online before OFR stepped in to give him the safe, loving start he deserves. 💙 Now he’s thriving in foster care and showing everyone just how special he is. 🥰

Why Everyone Falls in Love With Nicholas

✔️Champion cuddler — This boy lives for snuggles. Morning bed cuddles? He’s in. Couch snuggles at night? His favorite. He’ll happily snooze right beside you and even go back to sleep for some extra morning quiet time.
✔️Crate rockstar — Fully crate‑trained and proud of it. 🙌 He’s even learned to sit politely before being let out or picked up, and he does it every time.
✔️Smart and eager to learn — Working on sit/stay and doing wonderfully. He’s a people‑pleaser who responds quickly to gentle guidance.
✔️Potty training on track — Like any young puppy, he has daily accidents, but he’s showing great instincts. 💪 Every time he comes out of the crate, he runs straight to the door to go outside, then comes in and sits nicely for his treat.
✔️Dog‑ and cat‑friendly — Plays respectfully with other dogs and shows little to no interest in cats or even the foster’s bunny.
✔️Great with people — Loves guests, enjoys attention from all ages, and greets everyone with sweetness.

What Nicholas Is Looking For 👀
Nicholas would thrive in any loving home ready for puppy training, daily playtime, and lots of affection. 😍 He’s a sensitive, people‑oriented pup who blossoms with routine, kindness, and closeness. With consistency and love, he’s sure to grow into a loyal, gentle, and wonderfully snuggly companion. 💙

🖤 If you’re looking for a soft, cuddly, well‑mannered puppy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, Nicholas is your boy.😉

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
