My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bambi / Spayed Female / 1.5 years / 55lbs / Shepherd Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Untested / Kids: Yes / Location: New Hamburg

Meet Bambi!

Bambi came to us from Attawapiskat during our large November transport. This sweet girl had a rough start to life and needed some extra time to decompress. In Atta, she was being chased and fought over by males for breeding, so we brought her south as soon as possible to have her spayed and safe.

She’s fully recovered now and absolutely thriving

Bambi loves the outdoors, especially playing in the snow! She enjoys running around and playing with her foster siblings, then settling in close to her people. She’s a very affectionate girl who just wants to be near you, whether that’s lounging on the couch while you work or relaxing during TV time. If you’re nearby, she’s happy.

She’s an active pup who loves her daily walks (and prefers to do her business on them!), so an active family is a must. Bonus: she also enjoys car rides

Bambi is a gentle, sweet soul who is eager to please. She’s house trained, lets you know when she needs outside, and has no interest in making messes indoors. She’s just learning how to play with her foster dog and is discovering the joy of a good game of “chase me if you dare!”

Bambi truly is an amazing girl and deserves an equally amazing home to match.
Could that be you?
