Here's what the humans have to say about me:
š Drift's adoption fee has been generously sponsored š
Meet Drift š
Drift is an 8-month-old puppy with the cutest ears and a whole lot of heart. He was one of nearly 50 dogs rescued from an alleged dogfighting operation in South Carolina. Thanks to the help of our partners at Humane World for Animals, Drift is now safe at Baypath and beginning the next chapter of his life.
Like many young dogs whoāve been through a lot, Drift is still figuring out the world. He approaches it with curiosity, wiggles, and plenty of puppy charm. On leash, heās making great progress every day. New spaces can make him a bit nervous, and he may need gentle encouragement to keep moving, but his confidence is growing steadily. With patience, routine, and positive reinforcement, he continues to blossom.
Drift is very social with people and happily approaches with a loose body, wagging tail, and classic puppy enthusiasm. He clearly enjoys human company and is eager to connect.
With other dogs, Drift has shown playful, loose body language and friendly curiosity during introductions. He offers wiggly greetings, face kisses, and bouncy play. Heād benefit from continued positive exposure to help polish his puppy manners, but itās clear he enjoys having canine friends. Drift may also be able to live with a cat with proper introductions.
Drift is looking for a patient, loving home ready to guide a young pup as he builds confidence and learns the ropes. In return, youāll get a sweet, affectionate companion with irresistible ears and a joyful, puppy-hearted outlook on life.
