Meet Frankie

Meet Frankie, a truly special boy with an incredible story. Frankie was found as a stray in California with a dislocated hip and spent nearly two months in a shelter. Even though we were not a partner rescue with that shelter, their volunteers loved him so much that they reached out and advocated for him, knowing he deserved a chance.

Thanks to their support, Frankie was able to receive FHO surgery, and we are happy to say he is doing amazing in his recovery. He’s feeling great and showing everyone just what a wonderful dog he is.

Frankie has a fantastic temperament and is stable in almost all of our playgroups. He does best with female dogs and absolutely loves to play—balls, toys, and bones are his jam. Give him a good bone and he’ll happily entertain himself for hours, stretched out on his bed like the good boy he is.

He’s well-mannered, easygoing, and social, and we definitely see dog events in his future. Frankie is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him as much as he deserves.

If you’re interested in Frankie, please visit our website and submit an application.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to have an application filled out so we can better help match a dog to a home and family. You can fill out the application on our website at www.azmastiffrescue.com
The second step is to do a phone interview or email so we can discuss our dogs and what type of home they would do best in.
The third step is to have the adopter meet our dogs and adopt after a home visit is done.

Please Go To www.AZMASTIFFRESCUE.COM to fillout the adoption application so a volunteer can call you.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of the English Mastiff and Neapolitan Mastiffs.

Our Mission Statement

Canine Rescue Coalition, Inc. d.b.a AZ Mastiff Rescue is dedicated to Neapolitan Mastiffs and English Mastiffs and other Mastiff breeds. We are dedicated to restoring the mastiffs to good health, and finding them loving, permanent homes. We encourage community involvement, which includes raising funds to support our cause, and educating on the rewards of responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering. We want to implement an outreach program targeting children, the next generation. We hope to instill our firm belief that companion animals play an immeasurable role in the betterment of our lives. In order to achieve these goals, we believe that collaboration with other organizations will help us meet our mission.

We are a small rescue that focuses on the Neapolitan and English Mastiff. Most of our dogs are in foster homes in Az. We are always looking for foster homes and people who can help with home visits as well.We have rescued mastiffs for about 10 plus yrs now and enjoy helping them get into forever loving homes.
