Meet Jett! This sweet, adventure‑ready boy is searching for a new home to call his own. Jett is eager for a family who can give him mental and physical stimulation.
Our walkers describe Jett as energetic, enthusiastic, and deeply people‑oriented. While he may not show his best manners when you first pass his kennel, don't let that fool you! Once he's outside, he shifts from "jet speed" to a gentle, attentive walking buddy. He listens well, takes treats politely from an open palm, and knows "sit", "down", and "paw/shake". In the play yard, Jett loves toys-especially balls-and will happily entertain himself with a good game of fetch.
Jett is recommended for a home with older children or adults. Jett is a Golden Nugget-sometimes the best things take time to find. He can't wait to dazzle you.

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
