My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTERED In Council bluffs area

-Name: holly berry
-Age: a year and half
-Breed: corgi
-What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from?
I came from a breeding farm with 40+ dogs.
-Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now?
My favorite person is my foster mom but dad’s cool too.
-Are you good with kids? What age ranges? I enjoy kids and respond very positive to them but they do make me nervous when they are loud so I avoid and hang out with the bigger humans when that happens.
-Are you good with other dogs? Be VERY specific here?
I have 9 foster brother and sisters and they are all so much fun, they are teaching me how to dog, the little ones are fun to bounce off of and tackle, the big ones are amused by my zoomies and play ring master as I zip in and around them in the yard. I love to snuggle with all of them !
-Are you good with cats?
I was with farm cats and house cats, just ignore them.
-Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine?
I only had a couple accidents but my foster fur siblings are helping me to realize where I should go potty.
-Do you like car rides?
They make me nervous but I’ll sit in your lap, learning you get pup treats and treats wherever I have been taken so that is making car rides into a positive experience.
-Do you like walks? How are you on a leash?
The leash scares me but once I'm with my pack I have an absolute blast on a long leash, running, playing and sniffing all the great sniffs. I have a long walk everyday and I am slowly learning that the leash even though its scary means great adventures.
-Do you like toys? What is your favorite toy?
Squeaky toys are loud and scary and I have no interest in any toys. I do love some bones, especially an antler that I have found all on my own on a hike, that is my absolute favorite.
-Do you know any commands/tricks? No but I’m very smart and will probably learn fast!
-How are your house manners?
Sometimes I’m scared/ nervous to go in and outside but going with my foster siblings helps. I love my dog bed, the couch, and especially the human bed even though I havent shown any ability to jump onto anything so I need help to get onto everything unless there are stairs.
-Describe your personality-
Im shy at first but im really super sweet, loving , playful and snuggly 💗
-Describe your perfect home:
Id love a patient, quiet,(since loud things scare me )loving home with a fenced in yard to run and play and another dog to do that with!

Go meet their pets

All of our pets reside in private foster homes so meet and greets are scheduled in public locations. We often hold adoption events at our grooming salon in Sioux City. All dogs have their Foster location listed as the first sentence in their bio so please make sure you check that. We do adopt out of state, but we do require that you either come pick up your pet or set up transport on your own. We can accommodate FaceTimes
