I came to the shelter because I was sick and my previous owner couldn’t care for me. The good news? I’m feeling better now and ready for my next chapter—preferably one with comfy furniture and loyal subjects.
I’m friendly, curious, sweet, and a bit funny (I do have excellent comedic timing). I don’t mind being picked up and held, and I truly enjoy pets and attention—on my terms, of course. I’d say I’m the perfect mix of independent and affectionate: I can entertain myself, but I also enjoy human company and being part of the action.

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
