My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is full of love and looking for a foster home to recover in.

Reason for Foster: Pyoderma, Exposure to Illness

Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks; Exposure Quarantine Ends on 1/2
(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)

Foster Care Plan: Harley has had minor exposure parvo in the shelter. We ask that Harley’s foster monitor for any signs of illness. When housing a foster pet, we recommend housing away from personal pets until after the quarantine ends. Otherwise, we suggest that personal pets be over 1 year old and fully vaccinated.
Harley is also being treated for pyoderma, or a skin infection. He will go to foster with medication and will need medicated baths. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment to make sure you are ready to confidently care for this sweet pup!

Foster to Adopt Program: Harley is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption. If you`re interested in fostering, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
