My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oatmeal had minutes to live. He was impounded in an LA County Shelter which is high high kill. We came across him because of networkers. Oatmeal was a superstar in the play yard. We saved him and so glad we did. oatmeal is incredibly smart and loving. He loves being trained and loves being mentally challenged. He also loves other dogs and is a terrific player. This beauty weighs 49 pounds and is quite the looker. He would do fantastic in an active home, perhaps another playful social dog and of course fun training. Oatmeal is also e-collar trained to help with his walks. He sees another dog and he demands to say hi. Since he is very strong, we needed to manage his enthusiasm. There is nothing aggressive about his excitement. Once he gets to the dog, he is like, "Oh Hi!". Adopt Oatmeal! he is spectacular.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
