My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOSHI, M/N, DSH, BLACK
BORN-DEC/21/2019

Hoshi is named after a Japanese word meaning “star.” It symbolizes light, beauty, gentleness, and something special that shines even in the quietest darkness.

Hoshi is the kind of cat who shines in a soft, magical way. Not loud or demanding, but quietly unforgettable. With a gentle sweet gaze and a peaceful affectionate demeanor, Hoshi feels like a little star in your home—always there, glowing with warmth, love and comfort.

Hoshi is a cat who brings calm just by being near, whose presence feels reassuring and special. Hoshi loves attention and is very affectionate. Whether curled up beside you, or watching the world with thoughtful eyes, Hoshi has a serene, luminous charm that makes you feel truly one of a kind. Hoshi forms deep bonds, follows you like a gentle shadow, and brings comfort simply by being near. Hoshi will light up your home with warmth, affection, and quiet magic and leave a lasting sparkle in your heart.

More about this rescue

Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
