Zeke is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s Vet Clinic partners locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.
Zeke is the definition of easygoing charm. This handsome boy is the friendliest of friendly, always happiest when he’s right by your side. He doesn’t demand attention — he simply belongs with his people, quietly keeping you company wherever you are.
Stoic, super chill, and endlessly comforting, Zeke loves to sit back and watch the day unfold. Whether it’s birds outside the window or the gentle rhythm of home life, he’s content just being present. He has a wonderfully calm nature and takes everything in stride.
Zeke seems unfazed by kittens and other cats, making him a great fit for a multi-cat household or a calmer home where he can be the steady, soothing presence everyone appreciates.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will be your constant, peaceful shadow — Zeke is your guy. He’s not flashy, just deeply lovable, and ready to settle in right next to you for good.
Zeke has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. They don't require medication and can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (i.e. deep bite marks) and can't be passed to dogs or humans. Please don't judge them based on a blood test!

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
