My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is ready to be your new best friend. She is a lovely blue-gray kitty with a little “pearl” necklace of white fur. She has a very sweet personality. She loves to play with toys, seeking out her favorites even if they are put away in her toy box.

She makes biscuits, asks belly rubs and comes when called. She is also a lap cat and is a great companion when working from home. Easily trusting and well adjusted, she is good with strangers and will come up to them after a few minutes and rub against their hands for pets.

Lily gets along well with other cats settles into new environments quickly. She would be OK either with other cats or as an only cat. She would do well in a house with cat savvy kids age eight or above and would likely accept a calm dog. We estimate she was born in early June 2024. Kitty Bio #581LRoLi.

If you're interested in adopting Lily or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/. Lily is not a purebred Russian Blue but she is beautiful just like one.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
