Meet Daldal🩷
1.) Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, heartworm negative, and currently undergoing treatment for anaplasma.
2.) Rescue Story
* Daldal was rescued during a winter preparation volunteer session at the Gimje City Shelter. At that time, the shelter was facing harsh winter cold and an outbreak of infectious diseases. Daldal was so terrified of people that she would squeeze herself into the smallest corners to hide. To give her a chance at a better tomorrow, Adogs decided to bring her into our care.
3.) Basic Information
* With People: Is very fearful of humans. If someone approaches, she immediately hides in a corner. Even with treats, she won't take them directly from your hand yet; she only eats them once you place them down and step away. While she is wary, she has never shown any aggression or nipping. We are currently working on building her confidence through gentle petting. Needs time to build trust, but she is a gentle soul who will surely open her heart if given a patient home.
* With Dogs: As everything is still new and overwhelming, she mostly stays in her "safe spot" and hasn't begun socializing with other dogs yet.
* With Cats: No experience with them yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Difficult to assess as she is currently living in a group setting at our center.
* Potty Training: Currently does only pottying outdoors since she is staying at our center.
* Car Sickness: No signs of motion sickness so far.
* Has never shown any defensive or fearful nipping.
* Doesn’t bark or growl even when scared. No unnecessary barking observed.
* Is still very frightened of human touch and may flinch when petted.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
