Quinn has been in our care since 12/25/2025 after being found as a stray alongside other dogs. While we don’t know her full story but the shelter environment is starting to wear on her.
Outside of the kennel, Quinn shows us a very different dog. She has been affectionate with volunteers, walks calmly on leash, and takes treats gently. When meeting visitors outdoors, she has been friendly and appropriate. She wants connection — she just struggles with the constant noise and stimulation of the shelter.
The challenges:
-Becoming overwhelmed by the loud, chaotic environment.
-At risk of behavioral decline if she remains in the shelter much longer.
The good stuff:
-Affectionate with volunteers.
-Walks calmly on leash.
-Takes treats gently.
-Friendly when meeting visitors outside of the kennel.
-Previously found with other dogs.
Who she needs:
Quinn would thrive in a moderately calm home where she can decompress and feel secure. She would benefit from consistency, routine, and continued positive exposure to the world at a manageable pace. A home that can provide patience and reassurance as she transitions out of the shelter will allow her sweet personality to fully shine.
