-A tiny bit nervous to start -She is very food motivated and that was finally how I was able to get her to come over for some pets and attention. Once she knew she could trust me, she finally started to relax, enjoy and lean into pets. -After a while she was even comfortable enough to roll over into my lap and lay contently for belly rubs -She gives a few gentle kisses -She’s not currently playing with toys but seems very interested in them. She does a lot of hops and play bows which indicates that most likely she will be playful once she’s out of this stressful environment. -May be potty trained but that’s our best guess. And a new environment will be stressful to start. -She just needs a little bit of time and patience to come around fully! -Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

•Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
•There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
•To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
