We adopted Jack in the summer of 2025 as a companion for our female Boxer, Penny, who is the same age. Jack is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy, but we've learned that he truly needs to be the only dog in the home. Before coming to us, Jack was an only dog and is happiest when he doesn't have to share attention or resources.
While Jack and Penny have had a few scuffles, Jack is not an aggressive dog or an instigator - he simply thrives best as the sole pet. In the right environment, his loving personality really shines. He adores cuddling, being pet, playing tug-of-war, and enjoying tasty treats (blueberries are a favorite!).
Jack would do best with a single owner or a couple without children who can give him the one-on-one attention he deserves. He's looking for a home where he can be someone's one and only, and he'll return that devotion with endless love.
