Their adoption process
We approve or deny adoptions based on various factors, such as a fenced yard for dogs, how many other pets a protentional adopter may have.
Each animal is different; our goal is to place the dog or cat with the most suitable home for their needs and safety.
We also prefer adopting to applicants aged 21 or older.

Adoption steps
- Meet the Pet
- Once the potential adopter has found a pet they are interested in, they can visit the rescue in person and meet the cat or dog.
- Submit Application
- Please note: Applicants should be age 21 or older. Fill out adoption application and submit for consideration.
- Approve Application
- The application is then approved or rejected by the administration of our rescue.
- Pay Fee
- At this point, the adopter pays the adoption fee for the cat or dog.
- Take the Pet Home

We are located in Lakeland, Florida. Our animals are available to be viewed online on our Facebook page, on websites such as, Adoptapet.com and Rescueme.org, or in person by appointment. We also do various adoption events at the Lakeland PetSmart, as well as other events around Polk County and surrounding areas.
