My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odin is a smart, sweet, loving Dalmatian! This guy gets along well with everybody and loves people, dogs, and even does well with cats.

Odin has a great training foundation and is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash (with a bit of pulling here and there). He knows lots of commands including "sit," "down," "heel," "wait," "high five," "touch," and "off."

Odin is very playful and loves to play with other dogs and and toys. Dalmatians are active dogs who need a lot of exercise and engagement. If you think Odin might be the dog for you, please reach out!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
