Bambi is an 8-year-old Havanese sweetheart who found herself in our care after being surrendered, and now she’s quietly hoping for a second chance at the loving home she deserves. Gentle, kind, and full of soft affection, Bambi thrives on tender loving care and would blossom in a calm, compassionate home where she can feel safe and cherished. She is wonderfully friendly with other dogs and gets along beautifully with cats, making her an easy and harmonious companion. Bambi doesn’t ask for much – just patience, warmth, and a heart willing to love her back for all her golden years.

We ask that you please fill out an adoption application. All applicants will be interviewed, home checks if the applicants live in the area otherwise photos of the home are accepted, background checks and references required. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
