PITT
Age: 2–3 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Breed: Jindo Mix
Color: Ivory
Weight: 13 kg
Height: 45 cm (at the shoulder)
Rescue Story
Pitt was rescued from a municipal shelter in August 2023.
After spending over two years in a private shelter, he moved into a foster home in mid-November and is now experiencing home life for the first time.
Despite his long wait, Pitt has kept his gentle heart and trusting nature.
With People
Pitt may be slightly shy when meeting someone new, but he warms up quickly — especially with treats.
He does not show fear toward strangers and likes both men and women.
He allows himself to be picked up and held, even though he is still getting used to it.
Once he feels comfortable, he will roll over to show his belly and quietly enjoy being loved.
After you pet him once, he will keep coming back for more.
With Other Dogs
Pitt is friendly, social, and curious.
He happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to sniff and greet them.
He is gentle and tolerant, even if another dog barks or acts rude, and usually avoids conflict or simply ignores it.
He truly enjoys having canine friends.
With Cats
When he sees cats on walks, he watches them with curiosity but follows his handler when redirected.
Energy Level & Home Life
Pitt has a calm, balanced energy level.
At home, he prefers to relax quietly in his kennel or on the couch.
Outdoors, he enjoys moderate activity and walks, and then settles nicely again afterward.
He is a peaceful, easygoing house dog.
Walks & Training
Pitt may pull a little on leash but generally follows his person well and enjoys walking more than stopping to sniff.
He does well in both quiet areas and busy streets.
Some things — like elevators, stairs, or entering new places — can still feel scary, but he continues to improve with gentle exposure.
He is currently an outdoor-potty dog.
Behavior & Manners
No food or toy guarding
Very quiet — rarely barks
Gentle and well-mannered
Calm in his crate or on the sofa
Pitt is the kind of dog who lives quietly beside you and brings calm into the home.
Ideal Home
Pitt would do beautifully in a home that appreciates a gentle, calm, and affectionate companion — whether as an only dog or with other friendly dogs.
He is a wonderful choice for someone who wants a peaceful, loyal best friend.
