My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bellatrix (“Trix” or “Lil Trixy”) — Small, Mighty, and Full of Tricks

Bellatrix, affectionately known as Trix or Lil Trixy, is a small-but-mighty girl with a whole bag of tricks up her sleeve. She can leap impressively high for toys or treats, zip after her siblings when they make a run for it, and show her love with gentle licks and adorable head-butts straight to your forehead. She may be a Slytherin at heart, but she has an incredibly soft side for her humans, fellow animals, and her snuggle-loving siblings.

Trix’s favorite activities include snuggling with her sister Helga, play-fighting with hands, toys, or any willing furry friend, and showing off her impressive athletic skills. She may have been the smallest in the litter, but she has one of the biggest hearts for both playtime and affection — and she’s a professional purring machine. Her foster family will miss watching her hilarious kitten “MMA matches” with Draco and Helga, which were equal parts chaos and cuteness.

She loves dangling string toys, tunnels, boxes, and fake birds, and she has been exposed to her mom and siblings, as well as two large dogs and adult cats, many of whom she happily cuddled with. Trix thrives in a home that can keep up with her playful energy and her obsessive need for snuggles. She’d do best with active humans and other playful cats who are ready for fun, wrestling, and lots of affection.

Because she is still young, Trix must be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to socialize with. She would love to be adopted with her mom Kitty, or one of her siblings — Helga or Draco — but she would especially love to go home with Helga, her twin, bestie, and partner in crime. While Slytherin and Hufflepuff may sound like a strange pairing, these two are inseparable. They are total snuggle sisters, yin-and-yanging their way through the house, and you can only tell them apart because Helga has a cute pink spot on her nose. If you adopt them together, be prepared for constant photo opportunities of them loving on each other.

Trix is incredibly affectionate and shows her love by licking or grooming her humans, alongside plenty of pets, cuddles, and purrs. She needs love, attention, and space to show off her skills — and she’ll happily return the favor with her devotion and entertainment. If Bellatrix had a superpower, it would be acrobatics — she can leap, twist, and snatch toys (or siblings) out of thin air while making it look effortless. Tiny body, epic skills .

Are you ready to meet little Trix (and maybe her twin Helga?) She can't wait to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
