💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_

1⃣ Health Condition
* Not neutered yet.
* Microchipped and fully recovered from parvovirus.
* Received treatment for skin infection and now has almost recovered; we're only treating him with ointment.

2⃣ Rescue Story
* Saekom was living at the Gimje City Shelter together with #AdogsDalkom and #AdogsLemon. All three pups were suspected of having skin issues, and the harsh shelter environment exposed them to cold weather and contagious diseases. Seeing that they couldn’t endure the conditions any longer, Adogs carried out an urgent rescue.

3⃣ Basic Information
❗Since he is still a young puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking.
❗Since his parents are unknown, it is difficult to predict shedding levels or adult size.
* With People: Approaches everyone without shyness and loves people! Enjoys being touched and shows playful, affectionate behavior.
* With Dogs: Relies on and plays well with #AdogsDalkom and #AdogsLemon, and also gets along well with unfamiliar dog friends.
* With Cats: Has not met any cats yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Is currently living in a group environment at our center, so it’s unclear. Will need training from the start in a home environment.
* Potty Training: Indoor-trained; about 80% success rate on pee pads.
* Hygiene: Stays calm and accepts handling well during medicated baths. Is very patient during nail trims even when held belly-up.
* Walks: No walking experience yet, as he has not finished his vaccinations.
* Car sickness: Did not show signs of motion sickness during transport to our center.
* Does not bite people at all, but as a puppy, he may mouth or chew during the teething phase.
* Has not shown barking or whining yet, but may need training once he joins a family.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.
"Adopting an abandoned dog will not change the world but this can change the dog's world"

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
