Fig is a mostly confident, happy go lucky girl with an adorably hilarious personality. She's medium energy with spurts of excitement. She's very curious and loves people. She looooves sniffing. She's motivated by smelling, people, and food (in that order). She's potty trained and comfortable in a crate. She loves playing with toys and running around outside.
She can be fearful of new places, so needs patience while she gets comfortable, particularly on certain stairs or unusual surfaces. Fig is good in a crate with a dog bed while her people leave and patiently waits to be let out of her crate when they return. She's easy to walk most of the time, but can get excited during long walks. We think she would do best with older kids (over 12 years old). She seems to do well with other dogs, but hasn't interacted with them while in our care.
We pulled Fig from the Prince George's County Shelter, where they called her Cassia.

Our data base requires us to give an animal a breed. The breed given to the dog is our best estimate, and should not be used to predict future behavior.
