This short legged sweet girl is as loving as can be, but she has significant anxiety and truly needs the right person to help her feel safe and secure. She is potty trained, though if she becomes frightened or overly excited, she may have an accident. With patience and reassurance, she does well.
She needs a human who is willing to work with her, move at her pace, and show her that she is safe. Ideally, she would do best with someone who may benefit from an emotional support animal, as she bonds very strongly to her person and needs near constant companionship. She is currently on medication to help manage her anxiety, but human connection is what helps her most.
If she is not directly with her person, she will need to be kenneled or on a lead. She cannot be left alone in a yard, as she will escape. She does well with other dogs, but we would not recommend a home with farm animals.
