Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dusty! 🐾
Dusty is a 1.5-year-old silver Lab mix with the sweetest soul and the softest snuggles. After being found as a stray and brought to a local shelter, Dusty’s story took a happy turn when A Lab for Life stepped in to give him a second chance at the life he deserves.
This handsome silver boy is truly a gem. Dusty is incredibly well-natured and gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets—dogs, adults, and kiddos alike! He’s house trained, eager to please, and responds quickly when redirected, showing just how smart and attentive he is.
When it’s time to relax, Dusty shines as an all-star snuggler who loves being close to his people. When it’s time for adventure, he’s equally happy! Dusty is very motivated to explore the world and enjoys being outside. He does pull a bit on leash, but with consistency and guidance, this smart guy will pick up polite leash manners in no time.
Dusty would make a fantastic companion for an active family or individual looking for a loving, affectionate, and loyal best friend. If you’re searching for a sweet, social pup with a heart of gold, Dusty may be the one for you!

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
