Cooper joined our family in 2017 as an 8-week old puppy from a reputable breeder. He is sweet, relaxed, very affectionate, and can be as active or as lazy as you want him to be. He just turned 8 and has no health issues other than a couple of missing teeth and could stand to lose about 5 lbs, which we're working on. He does require regular grooming and I have yet to find a dry dog food that he'll eat consistently. He is a picky eater so I've resorted to making his food weekly, so that is the most high-maintenance thing about him which in my opinion, could be worse, lol. He enjoys being the only dog in the house, and will tolerate a cat or two.
I'm sadly realizing that my time is getting more and more spread thin with single-parenting, school, work, and travel. We simply cannot care for Cooper as well as we once did. Rehoming is a hard decision, but ultimately, he deserves to be with a family that has time to give him as much love as possible.
