Howdy, My name is Elvis. I’m not trying to be sexy. It’s just my way of expressing myself when I move around. Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do ’em all together LOL My story is a strange one. I was found on a county road, roaming around wondering what was going on. tired, hungry and scared. A nice couple found me and noticed that I wasn't in too bad of shape. They coaxed me over, noticed I was neutered and thought maybe I was chipped. Lo and behold they found out I was!!! They called Lucies and the nice lady there called the chip company to see who I belonged too. Bad news, the original owners closed the account like 8 days earlier.....luckily an animal shelter about 140 miles away held secondary ownership. After much exhausting and grueling time on the phone with them, the animal shelter would not take me back because I was not found in their county. What the heck fire???? What type of shelter would do that???!!!! Good thing I landed at Lucies, they truly care about me!!! They got me all vetted up and I am a healthy, fun loving boy. I'm good at car riding and I do well on a leash. I need someone who will take me home and love me and never abandon me.
