But there’s one thing that really helps me feel brave—food and treats. If you come with snacks, I’ll start to realize you’re a friend pretty quickly.
Once I warm up, you’ll see that I’m actually very sweet. I love to follow you around the house, quietly keeping you company and making sure I don’t miss anything you’re doing—especially if it might involve food.
I do best with patient people who understand that trust takes a little time, and who don’t mind using treats and gentle encouragement to help me feel comfortable. When you give me that chance, I’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and lots of sweet moments.
