My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhea Runtley is a fluffy mixed-breed puppy with a whole lot of personality and a future that’s going to be big. She’s expected to grow into a large dog, so she’s looking for a home ready to embrace plenty of love, tail wags, and space for her to stretch into her paws.

Rhea Runtley is currently available as foster-to-adopt, which means you can welcome her into your home now, with her adoption finalized once she is spayed at around 3 months of age. It’s a wonderful opportunity to help her grow, learn, and bond while knowing she’s on track to becoming yours for good.

At the time of adoption, she will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $150.

As with all New Leash dogs, Rhea Runtley will be a primarily indoor dog, with supervised outdoor playtime only, helping keep her safe and set up for success.

She’s still a puppy, discovering the world one day at a time, and will thrive with patience, structure, and positive guidance. In return, Rhea Runtley promises loyalty, affection, and all the oversized love that only a big dog can give.

If you’re ready to foster, fall hard, and raise a pup with flair and a bright future, Rhea Runtley may be the perfect match. ✨🐶💛

More about this rescue

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
