Ronin was abandoned by his mom. He was raised in isolation by a marvelous rescue human away from other cats. He's not really good at getting along with cats and doesn't really know how to be one himself. He spent more time around goats than anything else which makes him an interesting companion.
He loves his people, is loyal, and likes to sit in laps for a time and is off to do something around the house. He can get overstimulated with petting and often jumps down after a short time. Always active and entertaining, wanting to be on top of everything that goes on. He has fantastic fur courtesy of his breeds, a great purr, sleeps on our bed, and gets nightly treats.
Because of his unusual upbringing he is terrified of new surroundings and will take a while to acclimate. While he does, he'll hiss and strike out. You'll need to be patient. It took him 2 days to come out of his carrier and longer to explore other rooms.
