Bruce was originally described as being good with kids, and while he has not shown outward aggression, we have learned that he is more comfortable and secure in an adult-only environment. He has exhibited resource guarding of one specific toy on a single occasion, directed toward an adult, and has never shown any guarding behavior with food. Out of an abundance of caution and love for Bruce, we believe he would do best in a home without children, where expectations are calm and predictable.
He is currently taking Prozac once daily, which has helped support him in a busy household. With the right adult-only home and consistent structure, it is likely he could taper off the medication.
