This unique 7 year old 25-pound Dachshund/Pit Bull mix has a white coat and a heart full of love for his favorite people. He is an exceptionally smart boy who is already house-trained and good at following some commands. He is leash trained and enjoys going on walks. While he is a champion snuggler, he can be selective about his friends. He has preferences for certain people and requires slow, proper introductions to other dogs. Because he values his personal space and predictable environments, he is looking for a calm, loving home without small children.
He is being rehomed because our family has grown by two children. He recently bit our toddler when she got in his space. He has previously nipped at new people (when they were not using good dog etiquette). His defensive behavior seems to have increased since having children.
