I may seem quite affectionate at first, but I’m also independent and confident. I cherish my personal space and believe cuddles should always be top-tier and strictly on my terms. I do have a history of seizures, but don’t let that fool you—I’m a true survivor with a big zest for life and just the right amount of sass.
I’m looking for a special person who appreciates a cat with strong opinions, understands my health quirks, and can embrace a little feisty charm. If you value independence, respect boundaries, and love a cat with character, we just might be a perfect match.
Volunteers describe me as affectionate and friendly. I enjoy greeting people with rubs and head butts, hopping into laps on my own, and giving gentle nudges and licks. I seem to prefer head and neck scratches, and I stay calm and relaxed during petting—though I might get interrupted if dinner is nearby!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
